“My sister was married here five years ago and we loved the venue so much that we decided to get married here as well.  What first drew us to the venue was that they provide pretty much everything you need.  They supplied the bartender and we just had to provide the alcohol.  The food was fantastic and we loved that we were able to stay there that night and not have to worry about going somewhere else.  Our coordinator, Lexi, was amazing.  She was very helpful and very attentive.  She has a great personality and was willing to help us with whatever we needed the day of.  Whenever I had a question or needed to change an appointment, she was there and helped us as much as possible. ” Kristi D.

“I went to a handful of venues looking for somewhere to hold my wedding in March (3-4-17), I needed somewhere that could be indoor/outdoor, or have room for a tent in the case of rain. This was harder to find then I expected. We went to another very well know venue in Sacramento, and was given a list of rules and was told all of the things that we could NOT do, for the entire appointment. It was beautiful, but their customer service skills were pretty crummy. We met Lauren (wedding coordinator at the Vizcaya) and we knew instantly that we would have our wedding here. Everything we wanted, she made happen. She made planning our wedding so incredibly easy. She replied to our emails usually within the hour, she was extremely organized, and never once did she tell us that we couldn’t do something. I had my dream wedding and it was because of Lauren. She even suggested a bakery and a DJ who both ended up being PERFECT. Our DJ Joe kept the dance floor full all night, had fun games to play, and kept the guest pumped up the entire time. Our cake from Ettores was not only BEAUTIFUL, but tasted like heaven. Thank you Lauren for all your suggestions, and all your help making our wedding run so smoothly!” Marlee S.

“It’s obvious by the photos that this is a gorgeous place to hold an event, but what you don’t see in the photos is how hard the staff works to make your event as perfect as possible. We booked vizcaya for our march wedding and Briana was our coordinator. We met with her a couple of times and I couldnt help but want to be best friends with her. Sadly, we never got to best friend status (despite my many requests) because she was leaving Vizcaya and moving on to greater things. We were happy for her but nervous about getting a new coordinator two weeks before the wedding, but as it turns out we had no reason to worry at all 🙂 We had our first meeting with Lauren two weeks before the wedding. Nervous as we were we were assured that we were in good hands, and we were! The day of the wedding, Lauren was on top of it. She was a godsend, for real. She had a clipboard and a headset and she was taking on every detail of our wedding with an efficiency that gave us enough confidence to finally relax and enjoy the day. She even helped bustle the world’s most complicated wedding dress so I could enjoy our first dance! You have got some serious wedding skills, Lauren. Thank you so much! “There is no better place in or around Sacramento to get married. We had Lexi as our wedding coordinator and she is absolutely amazing. She made everything run so smoothly it was unbelievable. Plus, she was there through the entire planning process to help and answer all questions. The Vizcaya offers pretty much everything at their facility (even amazing vendor recommendations!) which makes the wedding planning process so seamless. The location itself is beautiful. We had a gorgeous outdoor ceremony on the east patio and then fire dancers performed during cocktail service. Vizcaya provided all the servers and bartender and clean up crew. They even packed up everything for us! Plus there is a huge beautiful mansion you get full use of the day and night of the wedding. They are so organized and professional that the entire day and night ran so perfectly. I kept waiting for something to go wrong, but it never did. “Vizcaya was everything we wanted and more. Choosing our venue was one of the first things we decided on. We chose Vizcaya because of how beautiful the venue is and the ability to bring your own alcohol without the corkage fee. The venue speaks for itself, and you do not need to do much to enhance it. Our coordinator was Lauren and she addressed all concerns we had. She is amazing! She put us at ease. When it came to the day of, it went without a hitch. It was stress free and perfect. The food is amazing, you cannot go wrong with what you choose and service was great. Not to mention, they have a cute bed and breakfast next door where you get a complimentary stay, and you can get ready in the bridal suite and grooms lounge before the ceremony. “Recently had my daughters baby shower here and it was an amazing day.  The Chef here is very talented and the food was amazing.  From presentation to taste, couldn’t have had better.  Even though our original planner was not able to see our event through to the end, we had a great planner in Alexis.  She was so sweet and very understanding about my nerves because of the change.   She made herself available for phone calls, emails, text messages, and even personal visits to the venue.  She even stepped in at the last minute and played game show host.  Thank you Vizcaya for making my daughters special day so special.  The memories we made on that day will be ones we will carry with us forever.” Sherrie F.
